Charlotte, North Carolina, gets its nickname “The Queen City” from being named after Queen Sophia Charlotte, the wife of King George III of Great Britain. Queen Charlotte was of mixed heritage, with African ancestors.

It’s that time again to celebrate another family reunion. All roads lead to Charlotte, NC, “The Queen City”! This is our 15th Lee Family Reunion. We have much to celebrate and be thankful for…love, life, family, and health.
